The transaction gives H.I.G. a platform in mobile fueling and fuel-management services across Canada with a growing presence in Texas, with plans to accelerate growth organically and through strategic acquisitions.

CRU Group Acquires Coking.com, Inc.

The deal brings RefComm’s flagship Delayed Coking conference and technical services into CRU’s events and energy market intelligence portfolio, with Coking.com owners Paul Orlowski and Evan Hyde remaining with the business.

CR Fuels Acquires Portabull Fuel Services from Jones Capital

Jones Capital has sold Portabull Fuel Services, LLC, a Purvis, Mississippi-based mobile fuel management and equipment rental company operating across 22 states, to CR Fuels, a wholesale fuels provider based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The sale transfers Portabull's fleet, fuel-management technology, and customer relationships (heavy construction, pipeline and renewable projects) to CR Fuels; Butler Snow served as legal counsel to the sellers.

World Fuel Services Corporation Acquires Flyers Energy Group

True North Energy Acquires 15 Wagner Shell Convenience Stores

True North Energy LLC, a joint venture between the Lyden family and Shell Oil Co., has acquired 15 fee-owned convenience retailing and petroleum marketing assets from Wagner Shell Co./Wagner Oil in the Green Bay, Wisconsin market. The stores — previously owned and operated by Mellissa Wagner and family — will be reimaged to the truenorth brand and continue selling Shell fuel while expanding True North's Wisconsin footprint.
