Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) has acquired Quebec-based education technology company Classcraft to add product capabilities and engineering talent aimed at improving student engagement and the customer experience. HMH — a portfolio company of Veritas Capital — will honor existing Classcraft contracts while integrating the team and technology into its K–12 learning solutions.
