GE HealthCare Acquires Caption Health

GE HealthCare has signed an agreement to acquire Caption Health, a private AI healthcare company that develops FDA-cleared, AI-powered image guidance for ultrasound. The acquisition adds AI-enabled image guidance to GE HealthCare’s ultrasound portfolio to expand access to point-of-care ultrasound for new users and clinical settings; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal is subject to customary closing conditions.
