Confie Acquires Sanborn's Insurance and Atlantic Insurance Agency

Confie, the U.S. personal-lines insurance distributor and a portfolio company of Alliant, acquired Sanborn's Insurance (to operate within its Bluefire Insurance general agency brand) and Atlantic Insurance Agency (to join its Freeway Insurance national brand). The deals expand Confie’s footprint in the southwestern U.S. and the Chicago market; Sanborn's will continue operating under its current brand and Confie will retain existing employees.

Alliant Acquires Confie from Abry Partners

Alliant Insurance Services entered into a definitive merger agreement to acquire Confie, the largest personal lines insurance distributor in the U.S., which serves more than 1 million customers and employs over 3,500 people. Confie is currently a portfolio company of Abry Partners; the transaction is expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, with terms not disclosed.

Confie Acquires ExpressLink, Inc.

The deal will expand Confie's product and territory offerings; ExpressLink's president Brian Murphy will remain in place and the companies said there will be no employee reductions or location changes.

Confie (InsureOne) Acquires TGS Insurance Agency

The deal adds more than 130 insurance professionals to Confie and will expand scale in high-growth markets including Texas, Florida, and Louisiana; financial terms were not disclosed.
