VPLS, a global cloud-to-edge computing and solutions provider, has acquired ZR Systems, a managed IT services firm based in Aiea, Hawaii. The acquisition expands VPLS's data center footprint into Hawaii and broadens its onsite support, cloud, colocation and managed security offerings for local small businesses and growing enterprises.

PLS Logistics Services Acquires D&L Transport

PLS Logistics Services, a technology-driven third-party logistics provider based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, has acquired D&L Transport, a freight brokerage headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. D&L will operate as an independent subsidiary with Brian DeFrain remaining president, and PLS expects the transaction to increase its annual revenue run rate to $950 million (with a projected ~$1.2 billion in 2022).

DataBank Acquires Four CyrusOne Houston Data Centers for $670M

DataBank closed its $670 million acquisition of four Houston-area data centers from CyrusOne, adding more than 300,000 square feet of raised-floor capacity and 42.5 megawatts of power. The deal expands DataBank’s U.S. footprint into Houston as its 28th metro, bringing the company’s portfolio to more than 65 facilities and roughly 2.0 million square feet of capacity; TD Securities and CIT (a division of First Citizens Bank) provided underwritten debt financing.

Caselle Acquires Dallas Data Systems

Caselle, a Provo, Utah-based provider of government accounting and utility billing software, has acquired Dallas Data Systems of Pottstown, Pennsylvania to expand its regional footprint and service capacity for local governments. The deal brings Dallas Data Systems' municipal software and high-touch client support into Caselle's Govineer Solutions platform, which is backed by private equity firm Peterson Partners.

VLS Environmental Solutions Acquires Texas Molecular

VLS Environmental Solutions, a Houston-based platform backed by I Squared Capital, has acquired Texas Molecular, a Deer Park- and Corpus Christi-based provider of hazardous and non-hazardous liquid industrial waste handling, treatment and sequestration. The acquisition expands VLS's capabilities into hazardous waste processing and sequestration; Texas Molecular manages over 75 million gallons annually and the combined platform now has more than 1,000 employees and 38 locations across North America.

Vantage Data Centers Acquires PCCW DC and Agile Data Centers to Launch APAC Expansion

Vantage Data Centers, backed by lead investor DigitalBridge Group, completed acquisitions of PCCW Ltd.'s data center business (PCCW DC) and Agile Data Centers as part of a broader entrance into the Asia‑Pacific region. The deals add existing and expansion capacity across Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne and support Vantage's rapid geographic expansion of its hyperscale campus platform.
