Casella Waste Systems Acquires Royal Carting and Welsh Sanitation

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Royal Carting and Welsh Sanitation, including related real estate assets. The transaction (expected to close in Q4 subject to customary conditions) adds two collection operations and two transfer stations in New York's Hudson Valley and western Connecticut, and is expected to generate over $90 million in annualized revenues while expanding Casella's regional footprint.

AMCS Acquires Dossier Systems, Inc.

AMCS, a global supplier of integrated software and vehicle technology for the waste, recycling and resource industries, has acquired Philadelphia-based Dossier Systems, a provider of cloud-based fleet maintenance management software. The deal brings Dossier's team of almost 50 employees and over 750 customers into AMCS to expand its fleet maintenance capabilities and integrate Dossier's SaaS solution with AMCS's platform.

Casella Waste Systems Acquires Select Solid Waste Operations from GFL Environmental for $525M

Casella Waste Systems agreed to acquire collection, transfer and recycling operations in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland from GFL Environmental Inc. for $525 million. The assets include nine hauling operations, one transfer station and one material recovery facility with approximately $185 million of annualized revenues (and an expected ~$43 million of EBITDA), and the deal is intended to expand Casella's Mid‑Atlantic footprint and provide a platform for future growth; closing was expected by Q3 2023 subject to customary conditions.

VPLS Acquires Carrier-1 Dallas Data Center

US colocation operator VPLS acquired Carrier-1’s 106,000 sq ft (now DA4) data center facility in Dallas, Texas, adding up to 10MW of capacity and expanding its Dallas footprint. Financial terms were not disclosed; Bank Street Group LLC served as exclusive financial advisor to Carrier-1.

SaaS Opportunity Capital Acquires Celera Systems

Midwest-based private equity firm SaaS Opportunity Capital (SOC) has acquired Celera Systems, a Milwaukee-based provider of workflow and order/fulfillment software used by large financial services firms. SOC intends to expand Celera's platform beyond its historical bundled distribution model with Toppan Merrill, accelerate integrations (CRM, DAM), add AI capabilities, and bring the solution to a broader set of financial services and regulated-enterprise customers.

CapVest Acquires Datasite

Funds managed by CapVest Partners LLP have agreed to acquire Datasite Global Corporation, a Minneapolis-headquartered SaaS provider serving the global M&A community. CapVest plans to support Datasite's next phase of growth and product expansion across its deal lifecycle platform including Datasite Diligence, Prepare, Outreach and Acquire.
