Adani Green Energy Acquires SB Energy India from SoftBank and Bharti

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) completed the acquisition of 100% of SB Energy India from SoftBank Group (80%) and Bharti Group (20%), valuing SB Energy India at a fully completed enterprise value of approximately USD 3.5 billion. The transaction adds a 5 GWac renewable portfolio (1,700 MW in operation, 2,554 MW under construction and ~700 MW near construction) to AGEL; TotalEnergies, which owns 20% of AGEL, consequently adds ~1.4 GWp of net capacity to its renewables holdings.

TSG Acquires Italian Solar Specialist SKY-NRG

TSG has acquired Italian solar energy specialist SKY-NRG, a company with about €60m in sales, roughly 100 employees and more than 720 solar installations completed between 2021 and 2023. The bolt-on deal is part of TSG's accelerated build-up strategy (27th acquisition in three years) to expand its integrated electrical and solar capabilities and reach €100m in solar revenue.

TotalEnergies Acquires VSB Group, SN Power and Big Sky Solar

TotalEnergies has closed three international renewables acquisitions, buying European wind and solar developer VSB Group, hydropower developer SN Power and the Big Sky Solar project in Alberta. The deals expand TotalEnergies' integrated electricity portfolio across Germany, Africa and Canada, adding operating capacity and a large development pipeline to its renewables business.

SPIE Acquires 85% Stake in Correll Group

French multi-technical services group SPIE will acquire 85% of Correll Group, a UK-based specialist in electrical engineering, installation and maintenance for the offshore wind sector. The deal expands SPIE Oil & Gas Services' footprint in offshore wind (it will be renamed SPIE Global Services Energy) and is expected to close in January 2024; Correll will retain 15% with management and contributes ~€55m revenue and c.109 employees plus 500+ contractors (2023).

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires 50% of Enel Green Power Hellas

Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of co-investors and managed funds, has acquired a 50% stake in Enel Green Power Hellas from Enel Group for approximately €250 million. The deal covers a 566 MW portfolio of onshore wind, solar and hydropower projects in operation or under construction in Greece and establishes a joint venture to accelerate development, storage and hybrid solutions across the company's pipeline.

TotalEnergies Acquires 50% Stake in AES Dominicana Renewables Portfolio

TotalEnergies has acquired a 50% stake in the solar, wind and battery storage (BESS) renewables portfolio owned by AES Dominicana, expanding its renewables footprint in the Dominican Republic. The deal follows TotalEnergies' earlier 30% purchase of AES renewables assets in Puerto Rico and increases the combined Caribbean portfolio to over 1.5 GW of capacity.
