Rubicon Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Jacopa Limited

Rubicon Partners has acquired a majority stake in Jacopa Limited, a UK supplier of water and wastewater treatment products, hire equipment and aftermarket services headquartered in West Bromwich. Jacopa founders Alex Lloyd and Pete Sargent remain shareholders and in their executive roles; Rubicon said it will partner with management to develop and grow the business.

Rubicon Partners Acquires CMD Limited from Ideal Industries

Rubicon Partners has acquired 100% of CMD Limited from Ideal Industries Inc. CMD, a UK designer and manufacturer of power distribution and ergonomic workstation solutions with operations in Rotherham and a London showroom, will remain led by its existing management team under Rubicon ownership. The deal is the sixth investment by Rubicon through its Fund V and is intended to provide long-term clarity and support continued product development and market focus.

Rubicon Partners Acquires Avove

Rubicon Partners has acquired the utilities business, now operating as Avove, in a carve-out transaction completed on 12 April. The stand‑alone business provides water and power maintenance services to customers including Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent; Rubicon has retained the existing management team, appointed Mark Perkins as Executive Chairman, and intends to grow the business leveraging its experience in water, energy and power sectors.

Rubicon Technology Partners Takes Majority Stake in Cin7

Rubicon Technology Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Cin7, the cloud-based inventory management and POS software provider, in a deal intended to accelerate Cin7's global growth through product innovation, sales expansion and customer success. The investment is subject to approval from New Zealand's Overseas Investment Office and positions Rubicon to scale Cin7's market leadership in inventory management software.

Rubix Group (Advent-owned) Acquires ERIKS UK & Ireland

Rubix Group, majority-owned by Advent International, has completed the acquisition of ERIKS UK & Ireland, combining two multi-specialist industrial distributors to expand Rubix's flow-technology capabilities and strengthen its UK market position. The transaction coincides with a minority equity investment in Rubix led by Neuberger Berman Private Markets, with participation from Adams Street Partners, LGT Capital Partners, J. Safra Sarasin Asset Management and funds/accounts managed by BlackRock; Advent remains the majority shareholder. The combined UK business and Rubix operations now drive a larger MRO platform with combined annual revenues in excess of €850 million.
