The Lachemont Group, a holding company with assets in New Jersey and Los Angeles, has acquired Coastal Packaging, a custom flexible-packaging manufacturer that produces roll stock, open-mouth bags, custom-fit container liners and pallet covers. The acquisition gives Lachemont vertical integration with its existing plastic-processing property and expands the group's geographic and end-market reach while enabling the Coastal Packaging brand to continue operating under new ownership.

SupplyOne Acquires Columbia Corrugated Box Co.

SupplyOne, a portfolio company of Wellspring Capital Management, has acquired Columbia Corrugated Box Co., Inc., a family-owned corrugated and protective packaging manufacturer operating in Oregon, Washington and Northern California. The transaction — advised on the sell-side by Footprint Capital — expands SupplyOne's West Coast production and distribution footprint and is the 41st add-on to the SupplyOne platform.

Unicorr Packaging Group Acquires TriState Container Corporation

Unicorr Packaging Group, a family-owned corrugated converter based in North Haven, Connecticut, has acquired TriState Container Corporation, a Bensalem, Pennsylvania corrugated packaging manufacturer with three Philadelphia-area facilities. The deal expands Unicorr's geographic footprint into Pennsylvania and adds TriState's high-graphic and digital printing capabilities to Unicorr's manufacturing network.

Georgia-Pacific Acquires Anchor Packaging

Georgia-Pacific has completed the acquisition of Anchor Packaging from the company's investors, including TJC, L.P.; financial terms were not disclosed. Anchor Packaging — a St. Louis–headquartered thermoformer operating four manufacturing facilities and two warehouses with ~1,250 employees — will become a wholly owned subsidiary to expand Georgia-Pacific's consumer products and foodservice packaging capabilities.

Cornerstone Building Brands Acquires Union Corrugating Company

Cornerstone Building Brands, the largest North American manufacturer of exterior building products, has entered into and completed the acquisition of Union Corrugating Company Holdings, Inc., a metal roofing and components manufacturer headquartered in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The deal—funded with cash on hand—adds UCC's ~700 employees and roughly $250 million in trailing twelve-month sales to Cornerstone and expands the company's offerings into the high-growth residential metal roofing market while delivering manufacturing scale benefits.
