TricorBraun, a global packaging distributor based in St. Louis, has acquired New Jersey-based SGB Packaging Group, a full-service sales representative and supplier for cosmetics, skin care, fragrance and personal care packaging. The acquisition expands TricorBraun's supplier network and strengthens its presence in prestige and masstige personal care end markets; SGB will continue operating out of Hackensack, New Jersey with its management team in place.

TricorBraun Acquires Zuckerman Honickman and Vessel Packaging

TricorBraun has acquired beverage packaging specialists Zuckerman Honickman (King of Prussia, PA) and Vessel Packaging (Canada), strengthening its beverage packaging offering, sustainable packaging expertise, and Canadian footprint. Both businesses will operate as stand-alone companies under the TricorBraun umbrella, with management teams and staff remaining in place.

SupplyOne Acquires Bell Container Corp.

SupplyOne, a Wellspring Capital Management-backed supplier of corrugated and value-added packaging, has acquired Bell Container Corp., a century-old custom corrugated manufacturer headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. The deal expands SupplyOne's manufacturing capabilities and geographic reach in the greater New York metropolitan area while enabling Bell Container to offer SupplyOne's engineered packaging, automation and national sales programs.

Atlantic Packaging Acquires Coastal Corrugated (North Charleston, SC)

Atlantic Corporation (Atlantic Packaging) acquired Coastal Corrugated, a 35-year-old family-owned corrugated box and custom protective packaging manufacturer in North Charleston, South Carolina. The deal expands Atlantic's converted-products and corrugated manufacturing capabilities and strengthens its service offering to automotive manufacturers and tier-one suppliers in the Southeast.

TricorBraun Acquires Packaging Solutions, Inc.

TricorBraun has acquired Minneapolis-based Packaging Solutions, Inc. (PSI), a rigid packaging distributor and custom designer serving pharmaceutical, pet food and personal care markets. The acquisition strengthens TricorBraun’s Minneapolis presence (adding warehouse capacity) and integrates PSI into the TricorBraun platform; PSI’s owners and team will remain and the Packaging Solutions name has been retired. Terms were not disclosed.

Envoy Solutions Acquires United Packaging

Glenview, Illinois-based Envoy Solutions has acquired Bristol, Pennsylvania-based United Packaging, a distributor of packaging, shipping, safety, and janitorial supplies. The deal strengthens Envoy's packaging capabilities and expands its geographic footprint in the Northeastern United States.
