Fastly Acquires Signal Sciences for $775M

Fastly, Inc. agreed to acquire Signal Sciences for approximately $775 million in a combination of cash and Fastly Class A common stock. The deal adds Signal Sciences' developer-first web application and API protection (WAF/RASP) technology to Fastly's edge cloud platform to create an integrated Secure@Edge security offering and expand Fastly's security capabilities.

Igneo said the deal expands its North American digital infrastructure portfolio and will support investment and expansion of US Signal's data centers and 9,500-route-mile fiber network.
