BGC Group Acquires OTC Global Holdings for $325M

BGC Group, Inc. completed the acquisition of OTC Global Holdings, LP for $325 million in a substantially all-cash transaction, acquiring 100% of OTC's equity. The deal brings OTC's highly complementary energy and commodities brokerage capabilities into BGC's platform — OTC generated over $400 million in 2024 — and is intended to expand BGC's product suite and market leadership in energy, commodities, and shipping.

Oil Brokerage, a subsidiary of OTC Global Holdings, has acquired rival broker Blue Commodities to strengthen its physical oil broking capabilities. The deal folds Blue Commodities into Oil Brokerage and OTC Global Holdings, with Blue Commodities CEO Jon Pike becoming COO, Physical, and the target's leadership and desk heads remaining in place to preserve client relationships across Northwest Europe, the Mediterranean and West Africa.

OSTC/OSTG Group Acquires BG Consulting
