Childhaven and Children's Home Society of Washington have merged to create a new nonprofit organization named Akin, combining staff, programs, and locations to expand child- and family-serving services across Washington state. The merged organization will leverage the combined scale and expertise of both groups to broaden behavioral health, early learning, parenting supports, and workforce development and will be led by former CHSW CEO Dave Newell.
