Bain Capital Real Estate, working with marina operator BlueWater Marinas, has acquired Kent Narrows Boatel (KNB), a Class-A heated drystack marina on Kent Island, Maryland. The property — which offers 375 slips and over 12,000 square feet of commercial space — will become the fourth marina in the Bain/BlueWater portfolio and will be operated to enhance customer experience and regional market presence.

TopSide Marinas Acquires Bay Marine Marinas in Waukegan and Sturgeon Bay

BlackSea Technologies Acquires Blue Tide Marine

BlackSea Technologies, a Baltimore-based maritime defense solutions company and portfolio company of Razors Edge Ventures, has acquired Blue Tide Marine to expand its maritime operations, unmanned systems (UxS) capabilities and at-sea support services. The acquisition integrates Blue Tide Marine's maritime expertise — including the 170' yacht support vessel OCEANUS V and a team of retired U.S. Navy SEALs and special operators — to strengthen end-to-end UxS operations, ISR, and mission sustainment for defense customers.

OneWater Marine Inc. (NASDAQ: ONEW) acquired the net assets of Harbor Pointe Marina, an on-water dealership located in Dadeville, Alabama, expanding the company's presence on Lake Martin. The transaction (real estate excluded; inventory taken on consignment) broadens OneWater's new and pre-owned boat sales, finance, parts and services offerings; Harbor Pointe generated approximately $5.8 million in sales in 2022.
