GeologicAI, a Calgary-based provider of high-resolution decision engineering for the critical minerals sector, has acquired Lumo Analytics, a Helsinki-based maker of compact LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) scanners. The acquisition extends GeologicAI’s on-site sensor suite to include rapid detection of light elements and rare-earth elements, strengthening its data and analytics offering for mining customers.

Montrose Environmental Group Acquires Frontier Analytical Laboratories

Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. (NYSE: MEG) has acquired Frontier Analytical Laboratories, an El Dorado Hills, California-based environmental laboratory specializing in high-resolution GC‑MS analysis of dioxins, furans, PCBs and other persistent organic pollutants. Frontier will be integrated into Montrose’s Measurement and Analysis segment and operate as part of Enthalpy Analytical, LLC; Frontier’s leadership team will join Montrose. Terms were not disclosed.

Prodapt, a consulting, technology and managed services provider to the connectedness/telecom vertical, has acquired UK-based SLR Dynamics, a digital engineering and automation services firm serving European and African telcos. The deal will protect 100+ SLR Dynamics jobs, and Prodapt plans to invest over GBP 50 million in the UK and expand the UK workforce by ~400–500 employees to strengthen its capabilities in cloud, security, IoT and product design.

Alliance Technical Group, a Morgan Stanley Capital Partners–backed environmental testing and services platform, has acquired four independent environmental laboratories — Summit Environmental Technologies (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), Fremont Analytical (Seattle, WA), Orange Coast Analytical (Los Angeles, CA / Phoenix, AZ) and CHESTER LabNet (Portland, OR) — to build a nationwide laboratory network. The add-on deals expand Alliance's capabilities beyond air testing into water, hazardous waste, soil and PFAS/XRF analyses and broaden its geographic coverage across the United States.
