Marlin Equity Partners completed the acquisition of AVI-SPL and merged it with Marlin portfolio company Whitlock, creating a combined digital workplace collaboration provider. H.I.G. Capital partnered in the deal and will retain a minority stake in the combined company, which will offer expanded managed services, global support centers and enhanced collaboration solutions.

The deal, supported with financing arranged by Brightwood Capital Advisors, strengthens VTG's IT operations management, managed services and federal services capabilities as an add-on to its platform.
