Golf Genius, a provider of cloud-hosted software for golf facilities and associations, has acquired Shotzoom, the owner of mobile golf app Golfshot and coaching platform CoachNow. The acquisition brings Shotzoom’s consumer-facing Golfshot user base and CoachNow’s coaching capabilities into Golf Genius’ product suite, with the Shotzoom team joining Golf Genius and Ben Addoms leading a new division.

Agile Zone Acquires M Genio

Agile Zone, a Ypsilanti-based digital marketing and software services firm, acquired Cleveland-based custom software developer M Genio, Inc.; the transaction closed on August 19, 2022. The deal expands Agile Zone's capabilities in mobile solutions, cloud automation and IoT development. Generational Equity acted as the M&A advisor for the seller.

Genius Brands Acquires WOW! Unlimited Media

Genius Brands International (NASDAQ: GNUS) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire WOW! Unlimited Media Inc. for approximately US$53 million in cash and stock, creating a combined animation and digital media company. The deal adds WOW!'s Frederator and Mainframe studios, a large YouTube network and contracted production backlog, expanding Genius Brands' production capacity, audience demographics and monetization channels.

Regent Acquires Foundry from International Data Group (IDG)
