Coloplast to Acquire Atos Medical from PAI Partners for c. €2.2 billion

Coloplast has agreed to acquire Atos Medical from private equity firm PAI Partners for an enterprise value of approximately €2.2 billion. Atos Medical, headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, is a global leader in laryngectomy and tracheostomy products with ~1,150 employees and a direct presence in 30 countries; the deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals and was anticipated to close in Q1 2022.

Accenture Acquires OnProcess Technology

Accenture has acquired OnProcess Technology, a Boston-based provider of supply chain managed services and reverse logistics, to broaden Accenture's after-sales and service supply chain capabilities. The deal brings OnProcess's more than 1,500 employees into Accenture Operations and was previously owned in majority by the Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO).

ATS Corporation to Acquire Paxiom Group

ATS Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Paxiom Group, a Montreal-based provider of primary, secondary and end-of-line packaging machines serving food & beverage, cannabis and pharmaceutical customers. Paxiom generated approximately $67 million of revenue and adjusted EBITDA margin above 19% in calendar 2023, employs roughly 200 people, and will join ATS' Products and Food Technology business; the deal is expected to close in Q3 2024 with funding from cash and the company's revolving credit facility.

Accenture Acquires SYSTEMA

Accenture has acquired SYSTEMA, a Dresden-based provider of software solutions and consulting services for manufacturing automation, including deep expertise with semiconductor manufacturers. The SYSTEMA team of more than 240 employees will join Accenture's Industry X practice to expand Accenture's manufacturing automation, MES integration and industrial data/analytics capabilities in Germany and Europe; terms were not disclosed.

Ansys Acquires Phoenix Integration, Inc.

Ansys acquired Phoenix Integration, Inc., the developer of the ModelCenter platform for model-based engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE), to expand its process-integration and MBSE capabilities. The acquisition, announced May 17, 2021, will broaden Ansys' solution offering by enabling multi-tool workflows and tighter integration between engineering analysis and systems models; financial terms were not disclosed.

Elemica Acquires ProcessWeaver to Add Parcel TMS Capabilities

Elemica has acquired ProcessWeaver, a multi-carrier parcel TMS provider, and will integrate its parcel shipment execution and carrier-compliance features into Elemica’s Digital Supply Chain Network and Eyefreight TMS. The acquisition gives Elemica clients access to ProcessWeaver’s carrier network and ERP integrations, expanding Elemica’s transportation management capabilities to cover parcel, LTL and multi-modal shipments.
