Piab Group Acquires Alum-a-Lift

Piab Group, the lifting and industrial automation business owned by Patricia Industries, has acquired US-based Alum-a-Lift, a designer and manufacturer of ergonomic lifting solutions. The acquisition was funded by Patricia Industries (Investor AB) to support Piab's strategic add-on program and expand its lifting automation capabilities and presence in North America.

Piab Group has acquired COVAL, a French maker of vacuum automation components and systems, in a strategic add-on to strengthen Piab's product portfolio and geographic footprint. The acquisition was funded with EUR 20m in equity from Patricia Industries (part of Investor AB), together with cash from Piab and external debt; COVAL reported approximately EUR 23m revenue and EUR 5m adjusted EBITDA for the 12 months ending December 2022.

Bishop Lifting Products Acquires All-Lifts, Inc.

Bishop Lifting Products, a portfolio company of Altamont Capital Partners, has acquired All-Lifts, Inc., a family-owned fabricator of wire rope slings and lifting devices headquartered in Albany, New York. The acquisition is an add-on to Bishop's platform to expand its geographic footprint in the Northeast; All-Lifts will continue operating with its full workforce and Brian Dewey will join Bishop in a leadership role.

Piab Group (Patricia Industries) Acquires 80% of Tianjin FeiYun Powder Equipment

Piab Group, a Patricia Industries-owned industrial automation platform, has acquired 80% of Tianjin FeiYun Powder Equipment Co., Ltd (FeiYun) for approximately SEK 650m. FeiYun, headquartered in Tianjin, China, supplies vacuum conveyors and complementary equipment to end markets including batteries, pharmaceuticals and chemicals; it reported ~SEK 250m revenue for the 12 months ending Dec 31, 2023 and has 135 employees. Patricia Industries funded SEK 200m of the consideration to support the add-on acquisition and expansion of Piab Group's product offering and geographic reach.

American Pacific Group Invests in ServerLIFT

An affiliate of private equity firm American Pacific Group has made a strategic investment in ServerLIFT, a Phoenix-based manufacturer of material handling and lifting equipment for data centers. The investment is being done in partnership with Ray and David Zuckerman and will support accelerated growth, expanded manufacturing capabilities, and next-generation product development.
