The deal expands Rawlings' on-field product portfolio and secures a long-term supply of bases for Major League Baseball and related memorabilia and retail opportunities.

Certares and Knighthead Invest €300 Million in Avia Solutions Group

KPS Capital Partners Acquires Sport Group

KPS Capital Partners, through a newly formed affiliate, signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sport Group TopCo GmbH (owner of AstroTurf, Polytan, Rekortan, Laykold and other brands) from funds advised by Equistone Partners Europe. Sport Group, headquartered in Burgheim, Germany, is a global designer, manufacturer and installer of artificial turf and polyurethane sports surfaces with more than 1,900 employees and operations across the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific; KPS plans to support growth and operational initiatives and pursue a global acquisition strategy.

Innovatus Capital Partners and Founders Acquire Assets of Guerdon Enterprises

An investor group led by Lad Dawson, Mike Bowers and Innovatus Capital Partners formed Guerdon, LLC and acquired substantially all assets of Guerdon Enterprises, LLC. Innovatus will provide working capital and equity alongside the founders to support growth of the modular manufacturer, which will continue to operate from Boise, Idaho and focus on hospitality, multifamily, student and affordable housing markets across the Western US and Canada.

Reichmann Segal Capital Partners Acquires Athletica Sport Systems

Toronto-based private equity firm Reichmann Segal Capital Partners has acquired Athletica Sport Systems Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario-based designer, manufacturer and installer of dasher board systems and sport infrastructure. The seller was Fulcrum Capital Partners; Reichmann Segal plans to support Athletica's product development and geographic expansion while CEO Andrew McRae remains in place. The terms were not disclosed.

Longstreth Sporting Goods Acquires Cultor Pty Ltd (Gryphon)

Longstreth Sporting Goods, a PE-backed U.S. field-hockey retailer and distributor, has acquired Perth-based Cultor Pty Ltd, owner of the Gryphon field hockey brand. The deal brings brand ownership to Longstreth, expands its international presence in key hockey markets, and will see both businesses continue operating under the Longstreth umbrella.
