Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan, has acquired AC Risk Management (ACRM), an independent commercial lines insurance brokerage based in Melville, New York. ACRM’s employees, including CEO Matt Avellino, will remain at the Melville office as MMA expands its commercial lines and construction-focused insurance capabilities in the Long Island region.

The deal brings all 135 Clark employees (plus Haberman staff) into MMA and expands MMA's presence across New England with Clark's offices in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

The acquisition expands MMA's presence and capabilities in West Texas, bringing Perkins' commercial and personal lines expertise (including oil & gas, trucking, farm & ranch, and restaurant industries) into MMA's national platform; Perkins' employees, including CEO Mark Perkins, will remain in their existing offices.
