EQT Funds Acquire IFS with TA Associates as Minority Partner

EQT (through its EQT VIII and EQT IX funds) has agreed to acquire IFS AB from the EQT VII fund for a consideration in excess of EUR 3 billion, with TA Associates joining as a significant minority partner. EQT and TA Associates will back IFS' management to continue investing in product capabilities and pursue growth both organically and via add-on acquisitions.

Audax Private Equity Acquires EIS, Inc.

Audax Private Equity has completed its acquisition of EIS, Inc., a distributor, fabricator, and converter of electrical process materials, wire, cable and assemblies headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Audax said it will support EIS’s growth through organic initiatives and a buy-and-build strategy, leveraging EIS’s 38 branches, four fabrication facilities, and broad North American customer base.

Audax had owned EIS since 2019 and grew the business via a buy-and-build strategy (six add-ons and expanded fabrication/distribution footprint) to position the company for continued growth in electrification, renewable energy and aftermarket end markets.

The transaction combines IAC's global aircraft coatings capability (headquartered in Shannon, Ireland) with EAS's engineering and asset management services (headquartered in Irvine, California) to create a leading aviation aftermarket platform; terms were not disclosed.
