SK Capital Acquires PolyOne's Performance Products & Solutions, Renaming It GEON Performance Solutions

SK Capital completed the acquisition of the Performance Products & Solutions business from PolyOne Corporation (transaction announced at ~$775 million) and has renamed the carved-out business GEON Performance Solutions. The company, headquartered in Avon Lake, Ohio, operates 12 manufacturing sites across North America and Asia, employs ~1,100 people, and will be run as a standalone platform focused on plastic compounding and contract manufacturing.

KPS Capital Partners agreed to acquire INEOS Composites from INEOS Enterprises for approximately €1.7 billion and has completed the transaction, creating a standalone company now named Alta Performance Materials.
