SK Capital completed the acquisition of the Performance Products & Solutions business from PolyOne Corporation (transaction announced at ~$775 million) and has renamed the carved-out business GEON Performance Solutions. The company, headquartered in Avon Lake, Ohio, operates 12 manufacturing sites across North America and Asia, employs ~1,100 people, and will be run as a standalone platform focused on plastic compounding and contract manufacturing.

GEON Performance Solutions Acquires Roscom, Inc.

The acquisition expands GEON’s medical polymer portfolio and manufacturing capacity—Foster is headquartered in Putnam, Connecticut, operates three U.S. manufacturing sites and two distribution centers, and employs approximately 200 people.

CPS Performance Materials Acquires GEO Specialty Chemicals

Sterling Pharma Solutions Acquires CiVentiChem US Facility in Cary, North Carolina

The acquisition supports Sterling’s strategy to build a global chemistry services business and follows GHO Capital’s majority investment in Sterling earlier this year.
