Whitsons Culinary Group Acquires Fresh Picks Café, LLC

Whitsons Culinary Group, a portfolio company of GenNx360 Capital Partners, has acquired Fresh Picks Café LLC, a Manchester, New Hampshire-based provider of outsourced food service management to more than 50 K-12 schools and summer camp locations. The acquisition expands Whitsons' presence in the New England market; Fresh Picks' regional leadership team will remain in place as part of Whitsons.

Quadrant Private Equity Takes Growth Stake in Birch & Waite

Quadrant Private Equity has agreed to make a growth equity investment in Sydney-based Birch & Waite, a 30-year-old commercial food manufacturer known for sauces, dressings and condiments that supplies customers including Guzman y Gomez and HelloFresh. The deal, sourced from Quadrant's seventh buyout fund, values the business at just above AUD 300 million and involves a transaction with Fortitude (the vendor).

Solina Acquires W.T. Lynch Foods Limited

Solina has acquired W.T. Lynch Foods Limited, an Ontario-based manufacturer of sauces, syrups, dessert toppings and soup/gravy bases, to accelerate its North American expansion. Lynch Foods generates approximately CAD 95M in annual sales and its 178 employees and leadership team will join Solina, increasing Solina's Canadian headcount and coast-to-coast capabilities.

Evans Food Group Acquires Turkey Creek Inc.

The deal expands Evans’ branded and private-label pork rind portfolio, adds manufacturing capacity in the Southeast and strengthens the company’s position in the convenience channel; founders Gail and Laddie Fulcher will remain involved to support the transition.

Bramble Foods Group Acquires Whitakers Chocolates

Azalea Capital Acquires Virginia Food Group

Azalea Capital has acquired Virginia Food Group (VFG), owner of brands including Virginia Diner, Feridies, The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg, and Red Rocker Candy. Farragut Capital Partners provided senior subordinated debt and equity alongside NewSpring Capital and Salem Investment Partners to support the acquisition, with Atlantic Union Bank providing senior debt financing.
