LDC-backed Bramble Foods Group has acquired Whitakers Chocolates, the Skipton-based chocolatier founded in 1889. The deal is an add-on acquisition that strengthens Bramble Foods' confectionery capability and expands its retail, private-label and foodservice product offering across the UK.
