Aegis Software has completed its acquisition of Simio, combining Aegis’ manufacturing execution and operations software with Simio’s digital twin simulation and advanced planning and scheduling capabilities to create an integrated manufacturing operations platform. The deal, backed by Peak Rock Capital (Aegis' sponsor), expands Aegis’ product breadth and positions the combined company to serve global manufacturers with end-to-end execution, planning, and simulation tools; Simio’s founder will remain a shareholder.

General Atomics (GA-EMS) Acquires MLD Technologies, LLC

General Atomics has acquired the business of MLD Technologies, LLC and will integrate it into General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS). The purchase brings MLD's expertise in ion-beam-sputtered optical coatings and laser-damage resistant thin-films into GA-EMS to support development and production of high-power laser weapon systems.

Silvaco Group, Inc. has acquired Tech-X Corporation, a developer of high-performance multi-physics simulation software for photonics, electromagnetics and plasma dynamics. The deal integrates Tech-X's GPU-accelerated multi-physics tools into Silvaco's Victory TCAD platform to expand Silvaco's capabilities into photonics, wafer-scale plasma modeling and AI-enabled simulation workflows.

AmpliTech Group Acquires Spectrum Semiconductor Materials

(NASDAQ: AMPG) has executed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets and operations of Spectrum Semiconductor Materials, Inc., a San Jose–based authorized distributor of semiconductor components. The deal (approximately $8.0M cash plus $1.5M escrow and restricted shares) nearly triples AmpliTech's revenue base, adds a global distribution platform and a record combined order backlog of $11.4M, and is intended to accelerate commercialization of AmpliTech's MMIC chip solutions.
