Pilot Wave Holdings, a technology-focused acquisition and growth firm, has acquired Cormorant Atlantic Utility Services Corporation (CAUSC) — a provider of transmission, distribution and substation services to the utilities sector — in a carve-out from Cormorant Utility Services Limited. The buyer said it will augment CAUSC's service capabilities with modern technology to drive scalability and accelerated growth; Cormorant Utility will remain a shareholder in the new company.

Concurrent Utility Services Acquires Atlantic Utility Constructors, Inc.

Concurrent Utility Services, a Sanford, Florida-based provider of power and telecom construction and maintenance services, has acquired Atlantic Utility Constructors, Inc., a Melbourne, Florida utility contractor. The deal expands Concurrent's geographic footprint into central and northeast Florida and broadens its underground construction and telecom/fiber installation capabilities.

Osmose Utilities Services Acquires Associated Utility Supplies (AUS)

Osmose Utilities Services, a portfolio company of EQT Infrastructure, has acquired Associated Utility Supplies Limited (AUS), a Huddersfield-based manufacturer and distributor of specialist equipment for electric utilities, railroads and telecommunications in the UK and Ireland. The deal is a bolt-on intended to expand Osmose's product capabilities and regional presence, integrating AUS’s pole restoration products, training and repair services into Osmose’s global asset-management platform.

Huron Capital Acquires TriStruX

Huron Capital completed the acquisition of TriStruX, a national provider of telecom infrastructure services formed from the 2020 merger of Telcom Engineering Group, Leone Electric Corporation and High Point Utilities. The deal creates a telecom infrastructure services platform to support 5G and fiber deployment nationwide, with TriStruX founders remaining in management and holding minority stakes.

Osmose Utilities Acquires Centillion Solutions

Osmose Utilities has acquired Centillion Solutions, Inc. to expand its telecom engineering and technical services capabilities. Centillion, an engineering and geospatial services provider for FTTx and Hybrid Fiber Coax networks with operations in the U.S., Europe, Australia and a design center in India, will enable Osmose to offer end-to-end fiber engineering, design, permitting and post-construction services at greater scale; Osmose is a PE-backed platform owned by EQT Infrastructure.

CAI Capital Partners Acquires LineStar Utility Supply

CAI Capital Partners has made a platform investment in LineStar Utility Supply Inc., a Canadian distributor of powerline technician tools and safety equipment with distribution centers across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. Management (including Brian L'Heureux, Greg Payne and Brian Colledge) retained a meaningful equity stake and co-founders remain involved; CAI's investment is the sixth platform from CAI Capital Partners VI and was financed with debt from Scotiabank.
