Springboard Manufacturing (HCPI) Acquires Stack Plastics

Springboard Manufacturing, a portfolio company of HC Private Investments (HCPI), has acquired Stack Plastics, a Menlo Park-based custom plastic injection molder that serves medical device customers. The add-on expands Springboard’s micromolding and medical products capabilities and creates a combined business with facilities in California and Indiana, more than 130 injection molding presses and over 300 employees; terms were not disclosed.

Peli Products Germany GmbH Acquires HVB Kunststofftechnik GmbH Injection and Roto‑Molding Business

Peli Products Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of Pelican Products, Inc., has acquired the injection- and roto-molding business of HVB Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Crottendorf, Germany. The transaction — the first under Pelican's ownership by Platinum Equity — adds local manufacturing capacity to support Peli's European production and sustainability goals.
