Springboard Manufacturing (HCPI) Acquires Stack Plastics

Springboard Manufacturing, a portfolio company of HC Private Investments (HCPI), has acquired Stack Plastics, a Menlo Park-based custom plastic injection molder that serves medical device customers. The add-on expands Springboard’s micromolding and medical products capabilities and creates a combined business with facilities in California and Indiana, more than 130 injection molding presses and over 300 employees; terms were not disclosed.
