Lithium Americas Acquires Millennial Lithium

Lithium Americas Corp. agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of Millennial Lithium Corp. in a definitive arrangement valued at C$4.70 per share (approximately US$400 million in total consideration), payable mostly in Lithium Americas common shares. The transaction adds Millennial's Pastos Grandes lithium brine project in Salta, Argentina to Lithium Americas' portfolio and is expected to close after customary shareholder, regulatory and court approvals in early 2022.
