Electronic Arts Acquires Glu Mobile

Electronic Arts Inc. agreed to acquire Glu Mobile Inc. in a cash transaction valuing Glu at $2.1 billion enterprise value (approximately $12.50 per share, $2.4 billion equity value). The acquisition is intended to accelerate EA's mobile business by adding Glu's portfolio of live-service mobile games, talent and recurring-revenue franchises and is expected to be immediately accretive to EA's net bookings.
