CliniSys has acquired HORIZON Lab Systems and combined the business with Sunquest Information Systems to create a larger diagnostics and laboratory informatics group. HORIZON brings cloud-based LIMS/LIS capabilities for environmental, water-quality, public health, toxicology and agriculture labs; the combined organization totals more than 1,300 employees across multiple countries and will pursue cloud transformation, analytics and AI to improve diagnostic and public-health outcomes.

Chekhub Acquires MOPstar

Chekhub, an app-based operations management company based in Raleigh, North Carolina, has acquired MOPstar, a Frisco, Texas software firm that builds digital checklists and procedure management tools for mission-critical facilities. The acquisition brings MOPstar's checklist IP and founder Ajay Nagar into Chekhub (Nagar joins as CTO) to expand Chekhub's platform capabilities across utilities, healthcare, media and other end markets; terms were not disclosed.

Hub International Acquires Assets of Horizon Insurance, Inc.

Northrim Horizon Acquires ACG Systems

Northrim Horizon, a Mesa, Arizona-based permanent capital investment firm, has acquired ACG Systems, a Maryland-based systems integrator and technical service provider for mission-critical wireless communication systems. Northrim named Thomas Montalbano as CEO and said ACG will serve as a platform for additional organic growth and acquisitions in the wireless communication services industry.
