Columbia Financial, Inc. (the holding company of Columbia Bank) has received regulatory approvals to complete its acquisition of RSI Bancorp M.H.C., RSI Bancorp, Inc. and RSI Bank. The deal, which expands Columbia's New Jersey branch footprint by adding RSI Bank (headquartered in Rahway, New Jersey), was expected to close on May 1, 2022, and was subject to customary closing conditions.
