New Forests and AIMCo to Acquire Lawson Grains from Macquarie Asset Management

Macquarie Asset Management has agreed to sell Lawson Grains Pty Limited to New Forests and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) following a public tender process. Lawson Grains is a large Australian grains and oilseeds producer (c. 90,500 arable hectares, ~200,000 tonnes p.a. production); completion is subject to Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval and commercial terms are confidential.
