BBH Capital Partners has acquired DynaGrid Holdings LLC from Dallas-based private equity firm CIC Partners. DynaGrid, a Dallas-area provider of subgrade and sitework services for electric utility transmission infrastructure, will keep co-founders Charlie Ferrara and Kendrew Witt in their current roles with continued significant ownership.

Macquarie Asset Management-led consortium to acquire further 20% stake in National Gas

A consortium led by Macquarie Asset Management has agreed to acquire an additional 20% equity interest in National Gas from National Grid, taking the consortium's total ownership to 80%. The deal, on equivalent terms to the original January 2023 transaction, is subject to regulatory clearance and is expected to complete in the second half of 2023; the consortium also holds an option to acquire the remaining 20% between May and July 2024.

The move secures full control to support National Gas’s operation of the UK gas transmission network and accelerate future initiatives such as hydrogen network development and other decarbonisation projects.

A fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management agreed to acquire a 40% minority equity stake (with an option to increase to 49%) in select U.S. Gulf Coast infrastructure assets of Dow Inc., forming a new joint-venture platform called Diamond Infrastructure Solutions. The assets—site utilities, power and steam production, pipelines, environmental operations and storage—span five Dow sites in Texas and Louisiana; the transaction provides Dow with cash proceeds (approximately $2.4bn initially, up to ~$3.0bn if Macquarie increases to 49%) and creates a specialist infrastructure operator to serve Dow and third-party industrial customers.

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires 50% of Enel Green Power Hellas

Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of co-investors and managed funds, has acquired a 50% stake in Enel Green Power Hellas from Enel Group for approximately €250 million. The deal covers a 566 MW portfolio of onshore wind, solar and hydropower projects in operation or under construction in Greece and establishes a joint venture to accelerate development, storage and hybrid solutions across the company's pipeline.
