Evergreen Financial Technology Group Acquires Infonancial Solutions

Evergreen Financial Technology Group (EFTG), a collection of software and service businesses serving credit unions and other financial institutions, has acquired Infonancial Solutions, a Canadian provider of core processing software for credit unions, banks and trusts. Infonancial will continue operating under its current management with former owner Alex Plotkin remaining as an advisor while Tucker Sholtes is appointed CEO as EFTG integrates the business into its fintech portfolio.

BILL Acquires Finmark

The acquisition adds FP&A, planning and cash‑flow analytics capabilities to BILL’s financial operations platform to help SMBs and accounting firms gain deeper, real‑time insight into cash flow and forecasting.

WealthPlan Partners Acquires EFS Wealth Management Group

WealthPlan Partners, a national Registered Investment Adviser based in Omaha, acquired EFS Wealth Management Group, a Sioux City/Sioux Falls-based wealth management firm that manages approximately $360 million in client assets. EFS founder Marc Geels will join WealthPlan as Head of Private Wealth Management to build the firm's ultra-high-net-worth capability as WealthPlan expands its Midwest presence.

Morningstar Acquires PlanPlus Global

Morningstar, Inc. has agreed to acquire PlanPlus Global, a Toronto-based financial-planning and risk-profiling software provider. The deal (terms undisclosed) is intended to expand Morningstar's financial-planning capabilities and integrate PlanPlus's FinaMetrica Profiler and ProPlanner products into Morningstar's advisor-facing offerings; the transaction was expected to close in the second quarter of 2020.
