Prometheus Group, a Raleigh-based provider of asset management and optimization software, has acquired WorkTech, a Cambridge, Massachusetts provider of contractor management and workforce productivity software. The acquisition will integrate WorkTech's contractor tracking, approvals and payment capabilities into Prometheus's STO and EAM platform to improve shutdown/turnaround planning and contractor cost visibility.

Akoya Capital Partners Acquires WePackItAll

Akoya Capital Partners, alongside Trinity Investors and NewSpring Mezzanine, has acquired WePackItAll, a contract packaging, filling, fulfillment, and warehousing provider based in Duarte, California. The investment (supported by mezzanine financing) establishes WPIA as the anchor platform for Akoya's industrial packaging strategy and aims to accelerate growth and national expansion of its contract packaging capabilities.
