Hydrofarm Holdings Group, Inc. agreed to acquire House & Garden, Inc. and affiliated entities for approximately $125 million, funded with existing cash, with the acquired businesses becoming wholly owned indirect subsidiaries. Hydrobuilder Holdings Acquires Home Grown Ventures (HGV Nutrients)

The acquisition brings HGV in-house as part of Hydrobuilder's omnichannel platform to vertically integrate manufacturing and support the company's growth across commercial and retail channels.

Hydrofarm Acquires Greenstar Plant Products

Hydrofarm Holdings Group, Inc. acquired Canadian nutrient manufacturer Greenstar Plant Products, Inc., adding the Grotek and Gaia Green brands to its branded product portfolio. The deal, funded with cash and Hydrofarm's existing credit facility for approximately $83 million U.S., makes Greenstar a wholly owned indirect subsidiary and is expected to be accretive to Hydrofarm's 2021 adjusted EBITDA.

GrowGeneration Corp. Acquires HGS Hydro

GrowGeneration Corp. signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire HGS Hydro, the third-largest chain of hydroponic garden centers in the U.S., adding six existing Michigan stores (with a seventh opening soon). The acquisition will increase GrowGeneration's Michigan footprint and bring its total store count to 65, and is expected to close before GrowGeneration's fiscal year-end 2021.

GrowGeneration Acquires Aquarius Hydroponics

GrowGeneration Corp. has acquired Aquarius Hydroponics, a hydroponics and garden supply retailer based in Agawam, Massachusetts. The deal gives GrowGeneration its first location in Massachusetts and adds Aquarius's ~14,600 sq. ft. store and 10 employees to GrowGen's growing network of specialty hydroponic garden centers.

GrowGeneration Acquires Assets of Chlorophyll, Inc.

GrowGeneration Corp. purchased all assets of Chlorophyll, Inc., a large hydroponic retail and warehouse operation in Denver, Colorado, adding the store as its sixth Colorado location. The acquisition adds roughly $8 million of revenue and retains founders Beau Speicher and Lee McCall in sales and business development roles.
