Acme United Corporation Acquires Assets of Hawktree Solutions, Inc.

Acme United Corporation acquired selected assets of Hawktree Solutions, Inc., a supplier of first aid and survival kits, medical supplies, and training, for approximately $1.0 million. Hawktree — which held the exclusive Canadian Red Cross license for certain first aid/survival products and had prior annual revenues of about $4.0 million — was in receivership; Acme United will operate the business from its Laval, Canada facilities and expects the acquisition to be accretive in Q4 2023.

Alto Ingredients Acquires Eagle Alcohol Company

Alto Ingredients, Inc. acquired Eagle Alcohol Company LLC, a St. Louis-based distributor of specialty alcohols, in a transaction announced January 2022. The deal (closed Jan. 14, 2022) was funded with cash on hand for a base purchase price of $14.0 million plus an estimated $1.3 million working capital adjustment and includes up to $14.0 million of contingent consideration; Alto said the acquisition is immediately accretive and expected to increase Adjusted EBITDA by $7–9 million annually.

Investindustrial Acquires TreeHouse Foods

TreeHouse shareholders received $22.50 per share plus a contingent value right tied to ongoing litigation proceeds; the deal takes TreeHouse Foods private to support operational improvements and international expansion under Investindustrial.

Tailwind Capital Acquires ArrowStream
