Vance Street Capital’s portfolio companies Innovize and Excel Scientific have acquired Zenith Adhesive Components (ZAC), a contract manufacturer based in Athlone, Ireland. The acquisition expands the platform’s adhesive and film-based manufacturing capabilities for medical, life science and high-technology end markets and adds regional capacity to better serve customers in North America and Europe.

Advent International Acquires Majority Stake in ZIMMERMANN

Advent International to Take Nuvei Private in $6.3B Buyout

Advent International agreed to acquire Nuvei for US$34.00 per share in an all-cash transaction that values the Canadian payments company at approximately US$6.3 billion. Existing major shareholders — Philip Fayer, Novacap and CDPQ — will roll a significant portion of their equity and remain as investors, with Philip Fayer continuing as Nuvei's Chair and CEO; the deal is expected to close in late 2024 or early 2025, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

Rubix Group (Advent-owned) Acquires ERIKS UK & Ireland

Rubix Group, majority-owned by Advent International, has completed the acquisition of ERIKS UK & Ireland, combining two multi-specialist industrial distributors to expand Rubix's flow-technology capabilities and strengthen its UK market position. The transaction coincides with a minority equity investment in Rubix led by Neuberger Berman Private Markets, with participation from Adams Street Partners, LGT Capital Partners, J. Safra Sarasin Asset Management and funds/accounts managed by BlackRock; Advent remains the majority shareholder. The combined UK business and Rubix operations now drive a larger MRO platform with combined annual revenues in excess of €850 million.

Northwest Biotherapeutics Acquires Advent BioServices Ltd.

Northwest Biotherapeutics (NWBio) has completed the acquisition of Advent BioServices Ltd., making Advent a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal transfers Advent's fixed assets, intellectual property and cryostorage capabilities to NWBio to support scale-up and integration of manufacturing capacity for NWBio's DCVax immunotherapy programs.

Advent International has signed a definitive agreement to acquire tbi bank, a tech-led challenger bank active in Southeast Europe. tbi serves over 2.4 million customers across Bulgaria, Romania and Greece, partners with more than 32,000 merchants and issued nearly 1,000,000 loans in 2024; the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and terms were not disclosed.
