Merit Financial Advisors has acquired Zimmermann Investment Management & Planning, adding approximately $739 million of assets and establishing Merit's fourth office in Pennsylvania. The deal, finalized on December 20, 2024, will see Curt H. Zimmermann join Merit as Partner and Wealth Manager and expands Merit's footprint as part of its ongoing roll-up strategy (Merit's 31st acquisition since taking a minority investment from Wealth Partners Capital Group and investors led by HGGC's Aspire platform).

Advent International and Cinven have completed the acquisition of thyssenkrupp's Elevator Technology business (thyssenkrupp Elevator) from thyssenkrupp AG, with thyssenkrupp AG retaining a substantial minority stake. The global elevator and escalator manufacturer and service provider is headquartered in Germany and will pursue growth through geographic expansion, strategic acquisitions, and investment in R&D backed by the Consortium's financial resources.

Advent International (via Zenith) Completes Acquisition of u‑blox

Advent International, through its European vehicle ZI Zenith S.à r.l., has completed a public tender offer to acquire u‑blox Holding AG and will hold more than 98% of the company following settlement. The deal (CHF 135 per share) takes u‑blox private with Advent aiming to strengthen the company's market position, accelerate growth and capture rising demand across automotive, industrial and adjacent end‑markets.
