thyssenkrupp Elevator Canada has acquired Winnipeg Elevator Group (WEG), a Winnipeg-based elevator service and modernization provider that maintains roughly 1,000 vertical-transportation units in the region. All 23 WEG employees and most of the ownership team will be retained; the acquisition strengthens thyssenkrupp's service and modernization footprint in the Winnipeg market.

Urban Elevator Service, a privately owned elevator contracting firm backed by Skydeck Capital, has acquired Aventura Elevator through its Florida subsidiary, Urban Elevator Service FL. The deal expands Urban Elevator's footprint in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale corridor and adds Aventura's installation, modernization, repair and maintenance capabilities and employees to Urban's platform; deal terms were not disclosed.

Advent International to Acquire Significant Stake in Suven Pharmaceuticals

Advent International has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a significant stake in Suven Pharmaceuticals from the Jasti family and will make an open offer for an additional 26% of public shares. Advent plans to evaluate a merger of its CDMO and API platform company, Cohance Lifesciences, with Suven to create a scaled end-to-end CDMO + merchant API powerhouse serving pharma and specialty chemical markets, subject to board and regulatory approvals.

Cinven to acquire majority stake in Euro Techno Com Group from Carlyle

Cinven has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in Euro Techno Com Group (ETC Group), a France‑headquartered distributor of telecom and technology infrastructure products, from Carlyle. Founder and CEO Cédric Varasteh would retain a significant stake and Carlyle will reinvest as a minority shareholder; the Group has around 1,100 employees and generates more than €1 billion in annual revenues.
