QualTek Acquires Urban Cable Technology

QualTek, a national provider of telecom and infrastructure services, has acquired Urban Cable Technology, a regional telecom contractor based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The acquisition expands QualTek’s wireline capabilities and geographic footprint in the Northeastern United States; financial terms were not disclosed.

Lynn Electronics Acquires Total Cable Solutions

Lynn Electronics completed its acquisition of Total Cable Solutions (TCS), a Springboro, Ohio manufacturer of telecom and data center cable products. The deal expands Lynn's product portfolio and manufacturing capacity—adding a third 11,500 sq. ft. facility—and strengthens its position in the telecom and data center markets.

Equisoft Acquires U.K. Pension and Investment Solutions Provider Altus

Equisoft, a Montreal-based digital solutions provider to the financial industry, has acquired U.K.-based Altus, a Bath-headquartered provider of investment and pension management products and services. The acquisition adds a first European location to Equisoft's operations, expands its pension and investment product portfolio and brings Altus' client base and expertise into Equisoft's global digital solutions offering.

Sandvik Acquires QTE Manufacturing Solutions

Sandvik AB has acquired QTE Manufacturing Solutions (QTE), a US-based reseller of Mastercam CAM software as well as Verisurf metrology and Vericut CNC simulation software. QTE, headquartered in St. Charles, Missouri, has 12 employees and reported around SEK 45 million in revenue in 2024; it will become part of Sandvik's Mastercam business unit within the Machining and Intelligent Manufacturing area. The purchase price was not disclosed.

PDF Solutions Acquires Cimetrix Incorporated

PDF Solutions, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cimetrix Incorporated for $35.0 million net of cash. The acquisition combines Cimetrix's factory equipment connectivity products and Sapience cloud platform with PDF Solutions' Exensio analytics to improve data quality and deliver advanced analytics and ML-driven intelligence for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.

IFS Acquires Ultimo Software Solutions

IFS has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Ultimo Software Solutions, a Netherlands-based provider of cloud Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software. The purchase adds Ultimo’s fast-to-deploy, configurable SaaS EAM point solution and ~180 employees to IFS’s IFS Cloud EAM portfolio, strengthening IFS’s end-to-end and point-solution capabilities; the deal is expected to close in Q3 2022.
