bunq Acquires Capitalflow

Dutch challenger bank bunq has acquired Capitalflow, a privately held Irish SME lender, after Dutch central bank approval of a merger tied to a €193 million funding round with Pollen Street Capital that values bunq at €1.6 billion. The capital injection and acquisition are intended to fuel bunq's European expansion and add lending capabilities as the bank rolls out M&A as part of its growth strategy.
