Congruex, a PE-backed telecom engineering and construction platform, has acquired Southeast Utilities of Georgia (SEU), a self-perform fiber and telecom construction contractor headquartered in Augusta, Georgia. The add-on expands Congruex's broadband construction footprint across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee and is supported by Crestview Partners, Congruex's private equity sponsor.

Congruex Acquires Matrix Engineering

Congruex, a national provider of broadband design, engineering, construction, and maintenance services backed by Crestview Partners, has acquired Matrix Engineering, a Schaumburg, Illinois-based fiber engineering and splicing specialist. The acquisition augments Congruex's turnkey design-build platform with additional fiber splicing and outside plant engineering capabilities as an add-on to its existing platform.
