Cinven Acquires Bayer Environmental Science Professional (Envu)

International private equity firm Cinven has acquired Bayer's Environmental Science Professional business for $2.6 billion. The carved-out business, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina and operating as Envu with nearly 900 employees, will run as an independent platform focused on pest management, vector control and vegetation management while Bayer uses proceeds to reduce net debt.

SGS Acquires Aster Global Environmental Solutions

Newterra Acquires Environmental Site Solutions (ESS)

The deal expands Newterra's filtration capabilities and filter-media supply on the U.S. West Coast and broadens service coverage across municipal drinking water, construction dewatering, remediation and industrial markets.

Envoy Solutions Acquires Next-Gen Supply Group

Envoy Solutions, a Glenview, Illinois-based distribution platform and subsidiary of FEMSA, has acquired Next-Gen Supply Group, a janitorial supply distributor based in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The acquisition expands Envoy's Northeast footprint, adds Next-Gen's distribution, chemical manufacturing and equipment repair capabilities, and increases the combined platform's operating scale and customer reach.

Universal Engineering Sciences Merges with GFA International

GFL Environmental Services Acquires OSI Environmental

The add-on expands GFL Environmental Services' footprint across the Midwest and adds capabilities such as used-oil recycling, roll-off services and emergency spill response to its platform.
