Mitek Acquires HooYu for GBP 98 Million

Mitek Systems (NASDAQ: MITK) acquired UK-based KYC and identity orchestration provider HooYu in an all-cash GBP 98 million deal. The acquisition combines Mitek's biometric, liveness and ID verification capabilities with HooYu's orchestration, geolocation and sanctions/PEP screening to deliver a more comprehensive identity verification platform for financial services and regulated digital businesses.
