Pittsburgh-based private equity firm Incline Equity Partners has partnered with AquaPhoenix Scientific, a Hanover, Pennsylvania-based value-added distributor and private-label manufacturer of water treatment testing products and education kits. Incline intends to support AquaPhoenix’s growth and platform consolidation strategy by investing in technology and operational improvements to accelerate expansion and pursue add-on opportunities.

Saur Group Acquires Aqua-Chem

France-based Saur Group, an EQT‑backed environmental services company, has acquired Knoxville, Tennessee‑headquartered Aqua‑Chem. Aqua‑Chem will become the North American platform and the water purification global center of excellence for Nijhuis Saur Industries (NSI), expanding Saur's process water and purification capabilities across pharmaceuticals, beverage, energy and military end markets.

Inhance Technologies Acquires Advance Research Chemicals

Inhance Technologies, a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners, has completed the acquisition of Advance Research Chemicals (ARC), a specialty chemicals and materials producer with production facilities in the United States and Mexico. The add-on expands Inhance's capabilities in high-purity specialty chemicals, custom synthesis and private-label manufacturing to serve end markets including medical batteries, semiconductors, 3D printing and pharmaceuticals.

Integrated Water Services Acquires KLa Systems, Inc.

(IWS), a Sciens Water-backed provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, has acquired KLa Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of jet aeration and jet mixing technology headquartered in Assonet, Massachusetts. The acquisition expands IWS’s treatment technology capabilities and production of wastewater reuse solutions, enabling a more integrated offering for industrial manufacturers, water utilities, and municipalities.

Makai Capital Partners, with CFB and Konza Valley, Acquires New Life Chemical (adds to Paladin Holdings platform)

Makai Capital Partners, together with Capital For Business, Inc. and Konza Valley Capital, has acquired New Life Chemical & Equipment, Inc. of Greenville, South Carolina. The transaction is the first add-on to Makai's specialty chemical manufacturing platform, Paladin Holdings, and includes subordinated debt and equity from CFB and Konza while management remains with the company.

Kemira Acquires AquaBlue, Inc.

The acquisition will integrate AquaBlue into Kemira's Water Solutions business to strengthen Kemira's service-led industrial water treatment capabilities in North America and expand its offerings to food & beverage, manufacturing and healthcare customers.
