Equistone portfolio company Amadys has acquired Halver-based tso GmbH as an add-on to establish an initial market presence in Germany. tso supplies splicing and measurement technology, equipment and services for fibre optic communications networks; its founder Arthur Graevendiek will reinvest and remain CEO to support Amadys' growth in the DACH region.

The deal (subject to competition approval) expands Amadys' passive network equipment footprint across telecom and utility end markets; the combined group generates roughly EUR 180 million in revenue and employs about 140 people.
